Maison Clouet — Senteurs

Senteurs composées.

Every scent we blend begins the same way — at a brocante stall, in a field above Bonnieux, or in the back room of a Carpentras apothecary where the owner still weighs dried herbs on a brass balance. We collect raw materials the way we collect objects: slowly, by instinct, never in bulk.

In the back of the shop, behind the curtain, there is a small table with a marble top where each candle and room spray is hand-blended to order. We pour in small batches — usually six at a time — and label each vessel by hand. Nothing is rushed. If you order today, your scent will be ready in two to three weeks, because that is how long it takes to cure properly and smell exactly right.

La collection actuelle

Trois senteurs, trois histoires

Each scent is available as a hand-poured soy candle or a fine-mist room spray. Made to order in our atelier behind the shop.

Wild Sault lavender and smoked green tea — the last light of a July afternoon, distilled.

Le processus

We work exclusively with plant-based soy wax and essential oils sourced from small Provençal distillers. Each candle is poured by hand, cured for fourteen days minimum, then tested in the shop before we ever send one out. The room sprays use the same fragrance blends in a fine alcohol base — no synthetic fixatives, no shortcuts.

Every vessel is different — a repurposed ramekin from a flea market in Apt, a chipped teacup from an estate sale in Gordes, a glazed bowl we found in Vallauris. The container is part of the scent’s story.

Sur commande

Every candle and room spray is made to order. Please allow two to three weeks from the day you place your commission — this gives the wax time to cure and the fragrance time to settle properly. We ship within France and across the EU.
